Edward gilbert was in the hall of fame. He was the man whose name was the reason why our street was named gilbert street. So, it is a very old and historic neighborhood where we live and work. It has residential buildings in front of the hall of justice and it was named after Edward Gilbert who was a pioneer in the hall of fame and one of the original congressmen in San Francisco.
