This woman spent nearly three decades working at the Vaughn Correctional Center where it happened in february. She rose through the ranks from officer to captain, until she retired the day after floyds death. Its a mess in there. They are in crisis. Vaughn is in crisis. I cant speak for the other institutions. I know staffingwise, theyre in crisis. But its its unreal there. Reporter the report, describing accounts of overtime, lack of staffing, and lack of order as accurate. It could be today were going to do it this way because of whoevers on duty. Tomorrow its going to be this way, because of whoevers on duty and in the middle, might switch up because somebody came in.
