DAVAO CITY - The City Government of Mati in Davao Oriental has approved the 2022 Covid-19 Response and Preparedness Budget (Covid-19 RPB) of around PHP140 million, an official said Monday. In an interview, Ben Jason Tesiorna, Mati City Information Officer, said Mayor Michelle Rabat approved the budget as proposed by the Mati City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC). "Actually this is not the actual budget allocation which is included in the City's General Appropriation Act (GAA). This estimated allocation for next year's budget will be coming from CDRRMC, City Health Office (CHO), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Mayor's Office, and other offices," he told Philippine News Agency (PNA).
