TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Ballpark food is more than just peanuts and Cracker Jack.
Take a look at any menu from Little League baseball to the Majors, and it’s likely you’ll get everything from gourmet burgers to pulled pork nachos, and other creative dishes along with hot dogs.
“It’s just part of the experience,” said Mickey Graham, general manager of the Traverse City Pit Spitters, whose season was abbreviated in 2020 because of Covid-19.
“Right now it’s an escape to normal. You can go to the ballpark and experience something different, whether you’re coming to relax with friends and family. It just adds something different to the experience.
