today we re going to think about how the sun is playing a growing role in our future. our modern world uses an awful lot of power and the sun, as well as other sources of energy are looking better all the time. that s why my recent tour of an industrial scale solar farm was such an enlightening experience. these state of the art solar panels are moving platforms designed to follow the sun. they soak up an immense amount of energy, free energy created all day long every day. all the power that s being generated on this farm is being sold back to the grid. it s about 2.4 mega watts of solar panels in the sun here today. so it s generating more than a mega watt right now. right now. - [chuck] but it s not loud. there s no smell. no, no, it s also clean, so it s quiet, clean and has very little environmental issues at all. solar s really the future that is coming fast. - [chuck] that s why anyone looking to address climate change has to look at the sun. the ultimate power source.
