The Richland County Council met Tuesday, October 3. All council members were present. Chair Overture Walker spoke in memory of Richland County Sherriff ’s Department Deputy Jacob Salrin who died in the line of duty on Friday, September 29. Walker asked council and those present to participate in a moment of silence to remember Salrin.
Richland County Council met Tuesday, April 4. The following council members were present: Jason Branham, Derrek Pugh, Yvonne McBride, Paul Livingston, Allison Terracio, Don Weaver, Chair Overture Walker, Vice Chair Jesica Mackey, Cheryl English, and Chakisse Newton. The following were presented: •A proclamation recognizing the 2023 South Carolina Division I 10U Boys State Champions •A
