Fargo, ND, USA / 740 The FAN May 27, 2021 | 8:45 PM OMAHA, Neb. – The North Dakota State batterymates of Max Loven and Nick Emanuel led the second-seeded Bison to a 3-1 victory over third-seeded Omaha in the second game of the Summit League Tournament Baseball Championship on Thursday at Tal Anderson Field. Loven provided his production from the mound where he yielded just an earned run, scattered three hits and struck out seven over eight innings of work, while his catcher delivered a pair of run-scoring hits to put the Bison in the winner’s bracket. NDSU built a 2-0 lead in the second after taking advantage of a pair of a walks by Omaha starter Richie Holetz. Emanuel drove in the first run with a RBI-single to left field and Jack Simonsen drove in the second with a RBI-groundout.
