victim s body was removed. vernon odom is live now along kelly drive with the latest. reporter: it was sunny and frigid along kelly drive at mid-day, traffic was shut down for about two hours. just before noon time, police got an emergency call that this vehicle this crossed kelly drive at a key intersection and hit the wall and plunged into the river. it was coming down the highway out of control witnesses say. it took the marine unit and police some hour to fine the suv in some 12 feet of water, the lone victim was a female u. and she was pronounced dead at the scene. there was no indication that there was an application of the brakes or if she had a medical issue or mechanical failure or if it was intentional. visibility there is nil. it lands with such a great amount of impact, that the divers were unable to get the doors open under water, as you saw we had to remove the car from under the water and extricate the victim. at this hour police are not releasing the
