chris is like the anti stonewall jackson fanboy and as a result, his description of jackson s death is far more entertaining than mine is but chancellorsville is a battlefield where both of us are really cut our teeth as younger historians and so his insights on the battle of chancellor s bill known as lee s greatest victory also said some important light on why it s lee s greatest defeat chris is the senior education manager at the american battlefield trust doing some great work preserving our battlefields including a lot of preservation at chancellorsville itself. he s the author and co-author of more than a dozen books about the civil war. i ve been privileged to write with him for a 16 years now. we ve got lots of great stuff in the works coming up. it s a real treat to have them with us today. ladies and gentlemen, chris white. thanks, chris. thanks everybody for being here today, even though it s a virtual conference. we do have a few people out in the out in the crowd
