A woman died following a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Cherokee County, according to Coroner Dennis Fowler with Cherokee County Coroner's Office.
The City of Gaffney Police Department is investigating a Monday night shooting that left one injured. At approximately 8:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Carlisle Street to a shooting with injuries. On scene they found a victim with a gunshot wound to his leg.
