Netflix s hit series “Squid Game” may not have been the biggest winner of this year s Primetime Emmy Awards, yet it comes as a major milestone in the awards history, clinching wins as a non-English series.
Netflix’s “Squid Game” made history when it bagged 14 nominations at the 74th Emmy Awards that will be held on Sept. 12.
“Squid Game” received a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, becoming the first Korean and non-English series to be nominated in the category.
