SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Itâs been over a year since the United Way of the Coastal Empire began their COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.
Since then, theyâve been able to help thousands of residents throughout our region with rent, mortgages and utility bills.
The pandemic has caused people across the country to lose their homes, businesses, jobs and more.
Itâs lead many in the Coastal Empire asking for help, some for the first time and United Way of the Coastal Empire answered.
