Dimapur, Oct. 2 (EMN): Nagaland Health Project (NHP) conducted a knowledge exchange programme on National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) for aspiring health units from Peren, Mon and Dimapur districts at Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Burma Camp in Dimapur on September 30. An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Dimapur, stated that NQAS certification is the highest national quality certification in India, which is awarded to government health facilities that provides quality healthcare services. It mentioned that UPHC Burma Camp and UPHC Duncan Bosti were among the health units in India which have achieved NQAS certification in July 2022. In his opening remarks, the CMO of Dimapur, Dr. I Moatemjen, acknowledged the sincere and dedicated efforts put in by the doctors and staff of both the UPHC and congratulated them for achieving NQAS which was a rare feat for many.
