Coming up on Saturday, July 17
th, the Johnson County Arts & Humanities Council will be presenting the Chalk Art & Music Festival in Buffalo’s Crazy Woman Square.
Bonnie Klasinski, with the JCAHC, discussed the event with the city council in May.
Additionally, there will be music, vendors, food, poetry, and the Basque Dancers will be featured.
The Chalk Art & Music Festival will begin at 9am with the Chalk Art Workshop, and will continue through 7pm that night.
The festival and chalk drawing is free and open to all ages.

Bonnie Klasinski, with the JCAHC, came before the city council to ask for a street closure on Fetterman between Main Street and Lobban Avenue those days of the event.
She explains what they will be
offering.
The Chalk Art Workshop and drawings are free for the public to participate, and all materials will be provided.
The council approved the street closure from 8am to 7pm on Saturday, July 17th and 10am to 3pm on Sunday, July 18
