Zimmerman, currently principal of Irving Elementary, will succeed Ross Bauer, who will assume the head principal position at Orange Elementary in July.
A 14 year old student was arrested Wednesday morning for bringing a gun to Central Middle School in Waterloo. The gun was found inside the student's backpack. The gun was not used and there were no injuries reported. This is the second instance of a teenager bringing a gun to school in Wate .
