Two candidates have filed for the Northwest District in the November Hutchinson city election.
Jill Gumble, 55, of 1506 Linwood Dr., owns Gumble’s Home Furnishing with her husband. She also reported owning Gumble Investments, which are rental properties, and serves as president of the Central Kansas Landlords Association.
Jon Richardson, 40, of 3401 Radcliffe Terrace, is half owner of Richardson Brothers Construction and with his wife owners Selwyn Marketing LLC and Selwyn Investment, which leases commercial properties.
The district runs from the 17th Avenue boundary of the Southwest District north to the northern city limits, west of Plum.
Incumbent Jon Daveline has reached his term limit and cannot run for the seat again. ....
