This is georgia! dana: perhaps one of the best ways to deal with oprah is with some humor. absolutely. you know, celebrity endorsements have become such a fixture on political campaigns, particularly for the democrats. republicans don t have the depth of support among the celebrity community that you might be shocked by that. but for democrats, this is part of their geo tv effort. trying to excite their base and get everybody at the polls. i m not sure this isn t just a little bit over the top. we re just trying to think of things to motivate voters that we haven t thought of before. frankly, the voters are plenty fired up. anybody that s ever had a political thought in the last two years since the 2016 election is coming back to vote in 2018. we ve seen those numbers coming up. so i think this is kind of bouncing rubble, you know? the bomb s already gone off in the electorate and they re just bouncing more rubble with more bombs.
