CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - As more and more people line up to get their COVID-19 vaccines, a group of people met in First Ward Park Friday night to remember the ones who didnât survive the pandemic.
Mecklenburg County has lost nearly 1,000 people to the virus friends, family, neighbors. Itâs hard to find anybody who hasnât been affected in one way or another by the disease.
âItâs a tragedy that we had to lose our loved ones like we did.â
