The staff, students and parents of St Kilian’s Community School, Bray, were delighted to welcome their German exchange partners recently, after almost five years. Some 24 pupils from Matthias Grunewald Gymnasium in Wurzburg, along with their teachers Sebastian Singer and Sigrid Koehn, arrived in Bray on Sunday, April 14, where they were met by their host families.
The winner of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Bray & District Chamber of Commerce's Endeavour Awards 2023, Eleanor Murphy, said she was “in shock” after being honoured for her work with Bray Old Folks Association Meals On Wheels, at the ceremony on Thursday, October 26.
