FlightSafety International expansion to add 113 jobs in Columbus [The Columbus Dispatch]
FlightSafety International received approval for state tax incentives on Monday for the company’s expansion in Columbus that will create 113 jobs over the next three years.
FlightSafety is an aviation training company and supplier of flight simulators, visual systems and displays to commercial, government and military organizations.
The project was one of six to be approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.
The tax credits for the FlightSafety project have an estimated value of $1.7 million.
The jobs will have an annual payroll of $10.2 million.
Separately, software company Aware has announced it will create 50 jobs as part of an expansion in Columbus.
