Gift of Warmth: I never knew this could happen

ROCHESTER – “When you hear what this agency is about to do for you; it gives you goosebumps.”
That was the initial reaction of Rochester resident John Nicolosi, when he learned that the staff at Community Action Partnership of Strafford County were going to provide full weatherization and a new heating system to his home.
“I am on Social Security disability and I have used Strafford County CAP for fuel assistance in the past few years,” said Nicolosi. “Every year on the application there is a question asking if I am interested in joining their weatherization program. I always check yes, but in the back of mind, I thought, being a single man, I’d be far behind on the list because so many families with kids probably need this more.”
