Article content In The Outside Story, Brooklyn brownstone resident Charles Young (Brian Tyree Henry) finds himself on the stoop of his apartment, shoeless and locked out after dashing to the door to meet a delivery dude. It feels like the perfect pandemic metaphor – I’m outside! Now what? – but Casimir Nozkowski actually wrote and directed this simple, charming story back in the fall of 2018. It did have its world premiere at Tribeca delayed by COVID lockdowns, so there’s still a connection.
