Sam Clark (Aladdin) and Michaela Carruthers (The Genie) lead a number in Aladdin JR.
Review: Be prepared to be wowed by an energetic, full of colour and toe-tapping tunes in this live interactive theatre performance by Nelson Youth Theatre of Disney Aladdin JR. The opening of the show had the full cast presenting a visual extravaganza with interesting levels, a simple appealing set design, wondrous costuming and a surprising pyrotechnic flash. The tale began with the Genie led by Coco-plum Morrissey-Smith with her catchy and enigmatic performance who shared the same feelings as Aladdin and Jasmine, of wanting to break free from the confines of their living situation in search of a more honest and free life.
