The online chatroom where a Frenchman allegedly recruited up to 83 men to rape his wife while she was drugged unconscious is still up and running on a website hosted on Guernsey, a self-governing dependency of the British Crown.
Husband and suspect Dominique P. was also linked to the attempted rape of a 19-year-old female estate agent in 1999 (pictured: E-FIT made after the attack), which he admitted to.
The 51 men who have been accused of rape and put in custody come from all walks of life and range in age from 26 to 73. They include firefighters, lorry drivers, local council members, bank IT workers, prison guards, nurses, and journalists.
