CHARLOTTE, N.C. The first round of the Wells Fargo Championship begins Thursday but the golfing started Wednesday with the Pro-Am at Quail Hollow Club.
Many big names including former head coach of the Carolina Panther Ron Rivera, Christian McCaffrey, Shaq Thompson, UNC Tar Heels Football Coach Mack Brown and newly retired UNC Basketball Head Coach Roy Williams hit the links.
The Wells Fargo Championship even named Wednesday Roy Williams Day to honor the hall of fame coach.
