(Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images) PENNSYLVANIA Republican leaders of the state legislature in Pennsylvania have joined the fight against the certification of the Electoral College vote, urging U.S. Congress in a letter to delay the process which is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The letter, which reiterated the grievances about election fraud that were dismissed in dozens of court cases following the 2020 election, was shared by President Trump late Tuesday night. Man Stole Dump Truck In Newtown, Fled Down Highway: Police

UpdatedWed, Jan 6, 2021 at 2:32 pm ET Replies(8) Joseph Anthony Gonzalez, 24, of Ruckersville, Virginia, faces six felony charges, including robbery of a motor vehicle (Newtown Township Police Department) NEWTOWN, PA A Virginia man was charged with robbery of a motor vehicle after he stole a fully loaded, tri-axle dump truck and hopped on Interstate 95, according to the Newtown Township Police Department. At around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, a man walked out of the BB&T Bank on Newtown Yardley Road and approached several vehicles that were stopped at a red light on the Newtown Bypass, according to police. The man tried to open the driver s side door of one of the vehicles, but the female driver was able to accelerate through the intersection. He then tried breaking into other vehicles, prompting a dump truck driver who was nearby to pull over to call 911 and confront the man. An altercation ensued, and the man stole the fully loaded dump truck and drove off toward Interstate

(Shutterstock) LOWER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA Westbound U.S. 422 motorists will encounter a left lane closure between the U.S. 202 and Oaks interchanges overnight on Thursday. The Jan. 7 closure will last from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m on Friday. A post-construction assessment of the recently completed project to build new, wider bridges to improve travel on U.S. 422 over the Schuylkill River, Norfolk Southern Railroad, South Trooper Road, and Schuylkill River Trail in West Norriton, Upper Merion and Lower Providence townships, Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
