Jul 5, 2021 Mississippi State just keeps making history. Six former track and field Bulldogs are headed to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The combination of Marco Arop (Team Canada), Brandon McBride (Team Canada), Erica Bougard (Team United States), Curtis Thompson (Team United States), Marta Pen Freitas (Team Portugal) and Anderson Peters (Team Grenada) make up the largest group of former MSU athletes to compete in a single Olympic Games. He was a three-time All-American, competing both indoor and outdoor, and earned the USTFCCCA Accusplit Relay Award for his participation on the 4x800m relay in 2018.
