Its not clear what happened during that arrest. Gregory has been served with a misdemeanor summons for simple assault. Gregory was placed on administrative leave in july. Temperatures have not budged since 5 00 or 6 00. Mid to upper 40s and near 50. I think the temperatures will rise a bit during the overnight with the showers moving in and the southerly winds with the milder air. Tuesday, expect a slow commute in the morning with the showers around. And we are learning more about the man behind a violent university. A School Police officer shot and killed the man, just 1 minute after he drove his car into a crowd and started to stab people. montgomery county. that young man, 16-year-old john dereggi was walking with friends when he was hit. a candlelight vigil was held in clarkbsurg just a short time ago. our mola lenghi is there live. his parents were also there tonight, right, mola? reporter: yeah. they emotional night. john dereggi was a very popular student here at clarkbsurg high school where he was a member of the track team and it seemed he was loved by everyone, not just at the school but in the clarkbsurg community. john was essential to so many lives. reporter: yet his life was cut short killed monday after being hit by a tran. police say john and two friend train. police say john and two friends were walking on the track in boyds when the train came around the curve. john couldn t get out of the way in time. it s amazing. john woke up just the other day like it was any other day and then he was gone. reporter: tonight john was remembered by scores of friends and family. around here john
