Fifteen community and voluntary groups in Co Mayo are receiving funding totalling €87,000 from money raised during RTE Does Comic Relief.
The grants will supports services that are under financial pressure, and the funds are being distributed through The Community Foundation for Ireland.
1.4 million people tuned into RTE Does Comic Relief on the 26th June.
The marathon 4-hour show was also a huge hit with international audiences, and the money raised came from TV viewers, private and corporate donations, as well as matching funding from Government.
€5.8 million is now being distributed to over 600 groups and organisations across the country by the Community Foundation for Ireland.
