Published April 15, 2021 10:39am At least 30 vials of COVID-19 vaccine were damaged due to the fire that hit the Misamis Oriental Provincial Health Office, a Department of Health (DOH) regional official said on Thursday. Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB, DOH Region 10 director Dr. Jose Llacuna Jr. said the loss will not affect the rollout of the vaccination program in the province. “Yung vaccine na mga damaged natin, 30 bottles or vials [We have 30 vials of vaccine that were damaged],” he said. Llacuna said they will do their best to have a replacement for the lost vaccine. Citing reports from the officers and personnel of the health office, Llacuna said there was no reported death and injury in the fire incident.
