Earlier this month, the Defense Ministry unveiled its plans to improve the treatment for wounded veterans, dubbed “One Soul,” which would entail internal changes of its protocols, as well as require government approvals and some new legislation.

Israeli minister seeks to delay East Med gas forum citing climate concerns

Play audio 1XChange playback rate from 1 to 1 Mute audio Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz has been shepherding Israel’s membership process in the forum, which is widely seen as having important political benefits to Israel as a group that brings it together with Arab states. Steinitz dismissed Gamliel’s claims as “ridiculous” as the forum’s mandate is to deal with developing natural gas, not renewables, Gamliel made known her objections Sunday, the last day for ministers to do so, saying in a letter to Cabinet Secretary Tzahi Braverman that the cabinet should discuss the charter’s failure to address climate change.
