M-55 in Manistee County will be closed from US-31 to Stronach Road from Dec. 21, 2020, to November 2021 for a $10.3 million bridge replacement. The bridge spanning the Manistee River is 89 years old. MANISTEE TOWNSHIP, MI – A $10.3 million bridge replacement project is expected to begin next week in Manistee County.
The Michigan Department of Transportation project will replace an 89-year-old bridge spanning the Manistee River on M-55/Caberfae Highway in Manistee Township, which is just east of the M-55/US-31 intersection and near the Manistee Meijer.
