you know, the way we can t write off state and local taxes for my constituents, it s a deal breaker. what do you think? we moved ward the house on that. we allowed a deduction on property taxes up to $10,000. state and local not deductible on the income tax level. it s a policy change that did needed to be made. it s a provision that subsidizes high tax states. so i think it makes sense and i hope it will retain that in our conference with the house. when the conference report emerges from that deliberation that the senate and the house will pass and at least get rid of that state and local deduction where income taxes are concerned. neil: who put the a and c back in them? that looked like it was dead and gone and reappeared. yeah, i d like to see it dead and gone on the business and individual side. it was clawed back to help pay for some of the changes we had to make at the last minute to get the bill through the senate.
