Greater Noida: The 24-year-old man, whose bullet-ridden body was found in Dadri, has been identified as an accused in a gang-rape case lodged in Delhi. Danish, who was out on parole in view of the pandemic, had failed to surrender himself before the jail authorities, police said.
According to cops, Danish, who was the son of a former pradhan of Gadh village in Bulandshahr s Sikandrabad area, had been shot at five times in his chest and stomach. His body was found lying on the road between the Kot ka Pul and Chakrasenpur village in Dadri.
Dadri SHO Pradeep Kumar Tripathi told TOI, “He was out on parole in connection with a gang-rape case lodged in Delhi in 2016. He had been released during the previous lockdown and was supposed to surrender before police four months back but instead left home.”

Bulandshahr, Feb 2 : Two personnel of the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) were killed on Tuesday following the collision of two trucks in Bulandshahr s Sikandrabad area.
Meanwhile, several PAC jawans have also been injured in the accident. They have been taken to the hospitals for treatment.
The bodies of the two victims have been sent for post-mortem.
According to reports, the two deceased were posted in 38 Battalion Aligarh and were residents of Ghaziabad.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over incident and has directed senior officials to reach the spot and supervise relief operations.
