In the past, when small businesses wanted to launch a website, most of them chose WordPress or the most recent Facebook. However, Microsoft also announced a free cloud service (Digital Marketing Center) for hosting websites this week. It is going to grab customers from Facebook.

Microsoft quoted a survey that showed that more than 36% of small businesses do not have a website. But now, 80% of consumers will go to the website for research before visiting or shopping. This makes small businesses without a website face exposure difficulties and loss of customers. More importantly, under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic, companies are forced to turn to online to provide consumers with inquiries about whether to open a store, or to provide e-commerce and home delivery services.
