Elkton man sentenced after pleading guilty to 15 counts of sex abuse

ROSEBURG, Ore. An Elkton man was sentenced Monday to six months in prison and five years of unsupervised probation after he pleaded guilty to 15 counts of sex abuse in October of 2020.
James Bryce Carnes, 51, must also register as a moderate level sex offender and pay $21,000 to victims. According to court documents, four victims were named, with some of the abuse happening as far back as 2012.
Carnes is currently sitting in the Douglas County Jail.
