(ABC 6 News) Little Thistle Brewing in Rochester has been collecting donations over the weekend. The donations are for families in Brooklyn Center and the Brooklyn Center Community Schools after recent protests and civil unrest over the death of Daunte Wright.
They were collecting essential items like water, non-perishable food items, first aid kits, and diapers.
Those who would like to donate can stop by Little Thistle Brewing. Monetary donations are also accepted through a GoFundMe Page.

Wednesday afternoon, a line was out the door at the Blue Barn at Brooklyn Center Middle and High School.
As of Wednesday, more than 2,000 people had stopped by to pick up donations.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (FOX 9) - Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, was fatally shot by a police officer during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Sunday. Since the deadly shooting, people from all over have been offering their support for Daunte Wright’s family and the Brooklyn Center community.
The family of Daunte Wright has set up a GoFundMe account to go towards Daunte’s funeral costs and future care of his young son.
