Large unions plan to pull an estimated $2 million in business from the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown hotel, unless a labour dispute at the hotel is settled by the end of June, according to Unite Here Local 40.

Members of the BCGEU created a survey and posted it to the organization s Facebook page offering participants a chance to win a $200 gas card. Among other things, the survey asks respondents how often they travel Okanagan highways maintained by Acciona Infrastructure Maintenance. The highways contractor took over the maintenance of South and Central Okanagan roads last spring.
