That breaking news tonight. A man has been shot and killed outside oaklands lake merritt bart station. And weve just learned bart police now have a suspect in custody. It was at the corner of 8th street and oak near the stations bus zone. The station was closed for about 40 minutes while police investigated the scene. But trains are moving now on schedule. Police say after searching the area and looking at Surveillance Video. They were able to identify and arrest a man in connection with that shooting. Officials say theres no indication the suspect or the victim was riding bart.
