Be on the lookout for birds and help gather knowledge at the same time. The annual Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) will take place Feb. 12-15, and everyday people are invited to aid scientists in better understanding bird populations.
Over those four days, people are encouraged to spend 15 minutes or more at least once –in their yard or other easily accessible places watching and counting as many birds as they can find and then reporting those observations. Bird sighting data logged during the event will create a nearly real-time snapshot of area populations and can also assist in answering questions about climate change, weather events and surrounding environmental conditions.
Investigation unless they are concerned. keep in mind, this is zinke s own department that has done this. that s right. cnn reported earlier this week that the department of justice is looking into ryan zinke for any potential misuse of his government office for personal gain. now, the washington post is reporting that the president is very concerned about this, and we should note this is a marked change. the president of the united states has been very close with brian zinke. they seem to have worked well together in the past. but there is a lot of concern. while we don t know exactly the full scope of this investigation at the department of justice, we do know what the inspector general s office has been looking into. there are a few public probes. one of them includes questions about whether ryan zinke, conversations that he had with the chairman about a project back in his home state of montana, questions about what ryan zinke and matt talked about
