And i am in awe of her courage and her commitment to continue to serve people by standing up and speaking out against the gun lobby in favor of common sense gun safety measures. And by her side, a man who has served our country with such distinction, and i am pleased to call him a friend, not only because of that service he has gibb but because of what hes continuing to do by gabbys side, speaking out, over and over again. And as they both said, like many people in arizona and many people around our country, theyve been gun owners for a long time. And you know what . Theres a right in our country to be a gun owner. He has worked in 11 administrations and came back as the boss. Party, in addition to young people and minorities. The problem for the democrats is they tend not to turn out to vote in midterms. They do better in a president ial year, but that is the big question. Will single women, as well as young people and minorities, turn out to vote for someone who is not barack obama . Hillary clinton is appealing directly to women. I have not been able to find any data recently, but my sense in light is that for women 50 year old and older, married or single, the appeal to elect the first female president has a certain strength to it, but there has been some argument that for women under 50, certainly under 40, Hendry Hillary is a grandmother, an earlier generation. A lot of them tend to think there will be a female president at some point and they have other priorities, but she wants to maximize the vote among women justis sort the caller mention because she sees that as a core constituency and thinks ....
Its very early. They are trying to gather information. I spoke to one witness on scene, and she said everything happened at the metro stop a few blocks away. The stadium armory is not far from here. She said she saw a bunch of teens, 30 or 40 hanging out, kind of over near the subway, and thee heard yelling and then heard even or eight shots, back toback rapid fire, and she saw all the teens run back in this direction, and she wasnt exactly sure where the shooting occurred, but she didnt believe it happened here. We know its right near a high school, this iseastern high school, right over here to my right, where police are searching behind me. It seems to be somewhat on school property. Right now we know, police confirmed, two girls were taken to the hospital, with gun shot wounds. As of right now, from what we know, they are in stable condition. Thank you, ellison.
