reporter: this all started at san francisco at market and castro. police stole that newspaper delivery truck at about 3:40 this morning this is a high speed chase with the stolen truck veering off the road near railroad tracks, speeding through stop signs on city streets and maneuvering past vehicles on the freeway. at one point, the passenger seemed to be smoking as he watched traffic whiz by. this all started early this morning. san francisco police say two men stole the san francisco chronicle truck. the driver was not harmed. at castro and market early in the morning making a delivery, at that time the suspects basically jumped into the van and took off. reporter: just before 9:00, san francisco police chased the stolen truck all the way down to the san mateo bridge and that s where california highway patrol took over on the 880 freeway. you can see as he veers through traffic, nearly clipping this vehicle. in hayward the driver swerves into the oncoming traffic lan
