The City of Rockledge will be holding a 9/11 Ceremony on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Civic Hub, next to Rockledge City Hall, 1600 Huntington Lane. The Remembrance gets underway at 9:00 a.m.
Brevard County Fire Rescue’s new tower truck will officially be placed into service during a traditional ”push in” ceremony scheduled for Saturday, September 2. The event will take place at 9 a.m. at Station 41, located at 300 Alma Blvd. Families are welcome to attend and truck tours will be offered as part of the event. The new tower truck, a product of Sutphen Corporation, will serve the residents and visitors of Merritt Island at the Station 41 and will replace the current Sutphen ladder truck.
