A Curracloe business-owner is pleading with Wexford County Council (WCC) to address a maintenance issue which is causing his premises to repeatedly flood whenever the county experiences heavy rain. In October of last year, Brendan Moore, who runs a funfair business out of the family home, saw much of his stock damaged by water following a severe flooding event which left the ground floor of the house submerged and came within inches of destroying his entire workshop.
