Well get right to the latest on that breaking news. Kron fours grant lotus is in the newsroom with the latest grant ken and catherine. Its a minor miracle. No one was seriously hurt or killed. And tonight were still working to learn exactly what happened. But heres what we know so far. This chasg first started in Contra Costa County this afternoon. The car involved that white infiniti. You see there, then the car made its way across bay bridge into San Francisco, but eventually turned around and started driving back east across the bay bridge. Again, the driver was often flying weaving in and out of traffic sideswiping several cars to call this reckless would be a gross understatement in mind. You this is during evening rush hour. The driver eventually ended up in the city of richmond near Anderson Park here. The chp arrived to find t
Public transportation. More breaking news out of southern california. 5 people are in the hospital after a shooting in pasadena. Authorities say they believe the shooting may have been caused by some sort of fight breaking out in the Orange Heights neighborhood of pasadena. No suspect information has been released or if there been any arrests. Well keep you posted on that. Other crazy day on the bridge. Police arrest a suspect after they that person led them on a highspeed chase from Contra Costa County to San Francisco. And then back again to the east bay. The Highway Patrol says the suspect hit several other vehicles while trying to avoid police. One of those drivers whose car was sideswiped says it was a wild experience. Kron fours. Police take over richmond neighborhood after a highspeed chase turns into a chase on foot for a suspect. The wanted driver leading police in this White Infiniti to the east bay into the city and back to the east bay. Several other drivers struck and sideswiped in the chaos. I looked in my Rearview Mirror and i are skirting around in the back. Know that on my gosh, it serve high lauren combs was on the bay bridge friday afternoon when her car was hit by the fleeing driver sideswiped my bumpers. Great and then kept going. And theres like 30 police cars. There was motorcycles. There were like Undercover Police cars. There are so many combs was worried there would be a standoff on the bridge. But later discovered the speeding driver took off into the east bay. Police say the driver abandoned this white car near Anderson Park in richmond. And took off on foot. Combs is grateful to have gotten away with minimal damage to or pickup, but hes concerned for everyone involved. And what about the
Chase from the east bay into San Francisco and bask back into the east bay making dangerous maneuvers getting into really high speeds this is a long 580 headed towards berkeley. The car sideswiped several cars and you can see the front left bumper damaged as it maneuvered in between the cars. Look at how close this car gets. There were no police cars following the suspect as it was driving at high speeds. It eventually turned into this neighborhood. This is in richmond through these trees and ended up down this street. They got out of the car and took off running. Police helicopter and sky ranger followed it the entire time. Once the car stopped and pulled into the neighborhood the driver took off running. Within minutes officers were told where the suspect was hiding and cops swarmed the neighborhood. Now they are trying to track down the suspect.
