Harness the Hope has announced its first annual Harness the Hope Golf Tournament and the expansion of cancer fundraising events to three provinces in 2023 Ontario, P.E.I. and now Nova Scotia.
A Lil' Pole Fitness had their 10-year anniversary on February 12, 2023. On February 25, owner Shannon Champagne opened her doors to celebrate, giving the public a chance to see the new studio located in the health and wellness campus at 1424 Aubin Avenue. The free event also featured several local vendors and raised approximately $500 for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.

Twelve schools and 60 students participated in the Charity component of this year’s Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation (BEF) Challenge. The students raised $4, 500 which was donated to 22 charities such as the Barbados Heart and Stroke Foundation, Breast Cancer Society and Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society, to name a few.
