“A university presence in the city’s core will bring dynamic change to downtown Brandon. Brandon University can catalyze the mixed-use development that is critical for downtown revitalization. This is a perfect fit that brings new people, new amenities, and new life to downtown Brandon.” A university presence in the city’s core will bring dynamic change to downtown Brandon. Brandon will be the home of the very first and largest “Reverse Parade” in New England on Sunday, December 20, from 5 to 6 pm. In response to the COVID crisis, the folks at the Brandon Recreation Department, the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, the Brandon Free Public Library and the Brandon Area Toy Project have developed an event to celebrate the season in a safe and responsible manner that at the same time will be joyous.
A Reverse Parade means that displays will be stationary and the crowds will drive past the decorated “floats.”
This parade will begin at the entrance of High Street and Route 7, across from Green Mountain Garage.
