Rs. 517 mn to develop Botanical Gardens

Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said Rs. 517 million has been allocated for the development of botanical gardens in the country next year. The botanical gardens earmarked for major development are Peradeniya, Gampaha, Haggala, Seethawaka and Mirijjawila. Rs. 177.1 million has been allocated for the development of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Rs. 60.5 million
