After 65 years serving the Riverbend community, the owner of Black’s Sporting Goods in Alton has announced they are closing for good. The announcement was made on the business’ Facebook page on Wednesday, stating they would be closing for good at the end of the year, barring a new owner coming along.
All in-stock inventory is being marked down through December 31, and they say if you have a gift certificate or voucher you need to use it by then. All orders that have been placed will be fulfilled, even if delivery falls into 2021, according to the post. Black s owner Brad Haug will be a guest today at 10:25am on Let s Talk on The Big Z.
