NHS targets Bolton's BAME community in vaccination drive

HEALTH bosses have set out how they are encouraging ‘hard to reach’ groups and Bolton’s black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to take up the offer of coronavirus vaccines. A board meeting of the borough’s clinical commissioning group heard that as of February 12 around 90 per cent of those over-70 registered with a GP in the town had received their first dose and that figure was more than 80 per cent for the clinically extremely vulnerable.
